The Echofon for Facebook iPhone app is very good! But, here recently, the app is not displaying comments. They are not displyed whether I try and view them via the news feed screen or through the Notifications screen.

I like the interface but noticed 3 problems right away:
1. the times shown for friends posts show as the time of the last comment instead of the time of the original post
2. if you leave the "keep me logged in" box unchecked you are never again asked for a password but you go online as soon as opening the app. hmmm makes me think I'm always logged in? This may be due to the settings of push overriding that check.
3. as others have posted, friends posting on their friends walls does not show the friend whose wall they are posting on.

Also your guide section only has a guide for echofon twitter not echofon fb, likewise the chaneglog. It's almost like you are writing the manual after the software (tch,tch)
But all that said, it is a nice app, well done. Way better than FB app for iphone.

Question: is the login and the push/pull stuff done via SSL? or are my passwords floating through the ether in plain text. I know FB discourages SSL login due to its high overhead but it is very short-sighted (of FB) to allow non SSL login. Notice that gmail has finally gone to all SSL instead of just SSL login.
Once again though: nice app, good work.

Please go to Twiter's website with regular browser and try logging in there. Your account may be locked. If that's the case, please wait at least fro one hour (sometimes up to half day) till Twitter unlocks it. If your account is not locked, please try logging in with other Twitter client, if you have any. If you can't log in, Twitter is rejecting your log in from all 3rd party clients and there is nothing we can do. If neither is the case, please let us know.

For no reason at all, Echofon is now rejecting a password for my Twittter account that it has accepted since I purchased it. no matter how carefully I enter it in, it says it is "wrong." Ironically every single other Twitter client, be it on the mac (including, ahem Echofon for MAC) or on the iPhone, does not see a problem with the password/username combo.

Any suggestions? I already deleted and reinstalled it, no luck.

When I create a post on Facebook that has a Twitpic link using the Echofon for Facebook, tapping on the link within the app brings me to a page with an invalid URL message: The requested URL /vtfv1&h=d7b2d4d2f344ddaf4b5378e700d8c58e was not found on this server. The error page's URL was http://twitpic.com/vtfv1&h=d7b2d4d2f344ddaf4b5378e700d8c58e

Clicking on the link from Facebook itself brings me to the correct page, which is http://twitpic.com/vtfv1

Hope this is fixed because the app is simply superb in functionality and usability.

Sorry, since it's next to impossible to submit bug requests, I've got to post a comment here.

I've just installed Echofon for iPhone, and enabled ping.fm integration. Whenever I make a tweet through Echofon, it connects successfully to Facebook and posts to it, but it does not add the tweet to Twitter. The "Sending" screen/message at the top flashes for a split second and then disappears (normally it stays up for a second and then I see my new tweet posted in the friends timeline).

Whenever I delete the ping.fm key from Echofon, whatever I tweet from Echofon gets posted to Twitter successfully.

I've turned off/on my iPhone a couple times, thinking that a reboot might clear up any issues, but it did nothing.

Please let me know if there are any available fixes or if this is a legitimate bug. Thanks.

Oh I'd love to have this for my mac :) Hope it works out. To date, echofon on my mac is the best twitter app I've used, so I'd love to have it for facebook as well.

Maybe in the future. For now, we are trying hard to eliminate any inappropriate ads including sexual, dating, gambling, deceptive offers/quiz like pSMS. We have asked all the ad networks not to show them but they still pop up. Sorry for the inconvenience.

The push notification on Echofon FB is only for Facebook messages from other Echofon FB. If problem persists, please email to support_at_naanstudio.com with description of your problem and your ID.

Is there a user feedback system? Things like a friend posting to a mutual friend's wall doesn't say who's wall it's posted to. And I'd like to suggest a settings switch so that the news feed chronology works like the website's live feed or the official FB app's news feed.

I like the Echofon FB a lot more than the standard FB app. However, before I suggest Echofon FB to friends and family, can you offer a paid version so that we can get rid of the advertisements? Half of the ads are irrevelent to me (I live in Japan) and some are sexual in nature :-(
