I don't think I would like all the colourful ones even though I like pretty things I much prefer a Mac/iPhone style. Every time I thought of something I'd like to see in TwitterFon, within 24 hours an update appeared with the feature I'd been wanting (Right now I'm thinking about how I'd like to see the auto-refresh simply jump to the top of the list.)! One thing that really stands out about TwitterFon when comparing it with its two chief competitors (which shall remain nameless) is its design. Rather than incorporate designer UI for designer UI's sake, TwitterFon keeps it pretty but also keeps it clean and focuses on what it was built to do: Read and write tweets. My complaint was not so much that advertising was packaged into a free version - but rather that there was no alternative for me to purchase in order to get rid of the ads.<br /><br />I noticed the paid Pro version in the app store today, and then checked here to get the whole story. I'm glad I did, as I've been a big supporter of Twitterfon and hated to move to another client.<br /><br />Sorry about the hasty negative response to the ad-supported free version. But at least you know your users are as passionate about using your software as you are about developing it.<br /><br />$4.99 is pretty steep, but I'm happy to support good apps.
