One thing you can try is to turn "Clear Local Cache" on in the iPhone's Settings > Echofon. Echofon blocks user by user names now which does not work when the offensive user changes user name. With version 3.0, Echofon will block a user by user ID instead.

Yes, and we believe Pinchmedia is legitimate. (Echofon does not hand over location data to Pinchmedia).

When you make multiple login errors, Twitter locks you out for several hours and your log-in try will give you the "authentication failed" message during the lock out. Please wait for a while and try again.

Dan, did you do OAuth with Twitter on your Echofon Pro? The push notification on the free works from the beginning, but with pro you have to authorize to enable it. This is because we have to check Twitter's server to do the push.

I had the free version for awhile now. I installed the pro version today, mostly for the push notifications. Lovely to find out it's not working. It's working the same way the free version did, I get Mentions and DM's from other echofon users, but not from the web or other twitter clients.

I have confirmed this by subscribing to twitter as another user, then each account following the other. I send a DM from the new account to regular account (using echofon) and the push notification works. HOWEVER, I send a DM from the new account to regular using the web site and no push.

This is how the free version worked, sucks I just paid 5 bucks for nothing.

I am on Firefox 3.6 beta 4 on Linux and the plugin's send twittie doesn't work. Thats because I cannot focus the textbox. If I pressing the "Insert URL" button, a URL appears on textbox, but I still cannot focus the textbox to send messege. On Firefox 3.5.5 on Linux that works fine, but on Firefox 3.6 beta 4 not. :-(
